Another one via Steve.
Apparently the river is still fishable at Kirkby Stephen. However, following a bit of a cloudburst yesterday morning (at Appleby) I had a phone call yesterday lunchtime saying that the river was flooded at Musgrave.
If you're out today don't forget that, downstream of the Belah (and possibly Scandal Beck) the conditions can be totally different to those above.
The daily river reports previously posted on this blog have been replaced by the webcam. Check the webcam before you travel. This blog is now used primarily for announcements.
